Podcast Host
Tracy James, MA, CPCC is a Mindfulness and Life Balance Coach and Host of the Braving the Elements podcast. Working at the intersection of mindfulness, eco-psychology, flow/creativity and somatic embodiment, Tracy blends mystical, practical and research-based approaches to those seeking centeredness, creative flow and the fulfillment of their potential. She has nearly two decades of experience facilitating transformational individual and group coaching and leading international tours and retreats.
Tracy holds a B.A. in International Relations from American University, an M.A. in Counseling from The American School of Professional Psychology as well as certifications in Life and Leadership Coaching and Breathwork.
From her training with indigenous shamans in the Amazon jungle and with mystics from Nepal and India to her studies in psychology and the technologies of human transformation, Tracy integrates ancient and modern approaches into the Nature-based coaching methodology she terms Elemental Energetics™ and a system for meditation called Elemental Mindfulness™.
After years traveling the globe as a spiritual and digital nomad, Tracy has put down roots in the San Francisco Bay area with her husband Robin.
